Many orthopedic problems are managed by Physician Assistants. Our PAs are certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and are licensed professionals in the state of Oregon with prescribing privileges. Our PAs meet stringent continuing medical education requirements including recertification by examination every six years.

The PAs at Oregon Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic work as a team with the supervising physician to review your condition, prepare alternative care options, participate in your surgical care and provide post-operative follow-up care. In essence our PAs provide an excellent extension of the orthopedic surgeon.
